MILANO GREEN CITY

200 buildings with green certifications, and whole new
areas that have been environmentally recuperated, have
created a visual impact of the city that the rest of the world
envies.
Green mobility has transformed Milano, with 290 Bikemi
bike-sharing stations offering 3,650 regular and 1150 ebicycles,
and 218km of bike lanes.
These are just some of the elements that of the
environmental transition undertaken by Milano.

We are just at the start of a transformation that will deeply
change the face of the city and the habits of its
inhabitants, making Milano even more attractive for
tourist visitors and business travelers.
This map intends to show residents and visitors the scale
of change and how they can contribute to the green
renaissance of Milano. The new skyline of Milanese
architecture, the new piazzas and parks, and the whole
new mobility infrastructure built over the past decade has
made green living possibile in Milano, with major
municipal commitments in terms of air quality and
reduction in carbon emissions.
